MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFYING AGE
All applicants shall be at least sixteen(16) years of age.
MEDICAL CONSENT
Every candidate must consent to a medical examination as required by the elevator industry. Must be physically fit to perform the duties as required for the lift mechanic trade and do not suffer from Vertigo (afraid of heights).
CITIZENSHIP
A Resident of RSA or A Non-Resident authorized to work or study in the RSA.
ASSESSMENT
All applicants shall pass a pre-enrollment assessment designed to gauge the applicants English Comprehension & Math skills, Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude for employment in the elevator industry. A score of 80% is the recommended passing grade.
RESERVATIONS
We reserve the right to request any individual to pass a valid drug test. (Paid for by employer, if and when we suspect the use of any banned drugs or substances).
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants shall be in possession of at least a high school certificate equivalent to grade 10 (standard 8) or provide proof of equivalent educational qualification
